You’ll surprise yourself.
Your Sketch Host will look after you from the first mark to the last page. No pressure. Only encouragement.
Upcoming Sessions
This is a super special bag designed by Anna Battle and sewn by either Anna or Chris so that you can have your art supplies on your hip when you're ready to sketch.
It's designed to flip open and easily hold an A5 size sketchbook, a small set of paints, a selection of pens, pencils and brushes, and extra bits and pieces like sharpeners and clips. There's even room for a snack!
And because everyone is made from a selection of materials from Anna and Chris's stash, we will make them as beautiful as possible, and everyone is unique and special and made with love.
You might find you use it for a lot more than sketching!
The selection we have available will be indicated with a name on the photograph, so you can choose which unique bag is right for you!

The cafe that we will be starting at will be texted to you the day before your session - we choose routes according to weather and public events.
A fabulous guided urban sketching experience in beautiful Toowoomba with your local artist and guide, Anna Battle (that’s me!).
Two hours, great coffee, and a sketchbook that's yours to keep. All materials provided. No experience needed.
Every session is different! Depending on the weather and community events, we may explore the city life, architecture or our beautiful parks and gardens.
I will text you the day before to confirm the cafe we'll be starting at, and to take your drink order! :)
PLEASE NOTE: A minimum booking of 4 people is required for the session to run. We will notify you asap if a session needs to be cancelled. You will receive an immediate refund or gift voucher to rebook. Thank you for understanding (and bring a friend or two so it doesn't happen! ;)

Every sketch walk is a unique experience. As locals, we know the best spots - from hidden laneways and grand heritage facades to the quiet beauty of Toowoomba's famous parks and gardens.
Rather than offering fixed routes, we plan each session around the weather, local events, and the best light of the day to ensure you get the most inspiring location possible. There's always a reason to come back and see the region through fresh eyes.
