Overview

These Terms and Conditions outline the booking, payment, cancellation, and conduct policies for “Sketch & Paint: An Art Holiday” (the “Event”), held at Ridgemill Estate, Stanthorpe, from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 November 2026, and run by Anna Battle trading as Shiny Happy Art (“we”, “us”, “Shiny Happy Art”). By paying a deposit or the balance of your Art Ticket, you (“the participant”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Booking & Payment

• A $200 deposit secures your place and registers your interest in the Event.

• The remaining balance of your Art Ticket (up to $500, for a total ticket cost of up to $700) is due as a final invoice no later than 30 September 2026.

• Accommodation is booked and paid for separately, directly with Ridgemill Estate, and is not included in the Art Ticket price (see “Accommodation” below).

Minimum numbers

The Event requires a minimum number of 12 confirmed bookings to proceed. If minimum numbers are not reached, all deposits will be refunded in full. NB. Minimum numbers reached 1 August 2026.

Accommodation

Accommodation at Ridgemill Estate (12 self-contained studio cabins, $640 per cabin for 2 nights, sleeping 2-3 adults, including continental breakfast) is booked and paid for directly with the venue and is governed by Ridgemill Estate's own booking and cancellation terms, not by Shiny Happy Art.

Cancellations & Refunds

If you need to cancel your place, refunds of your Art Ticket (deposit plus any balance paid) are calculated as follows:

• More than 2 months before the Event: full refund of the Art Ticket, minus a [$50] administration fee.

• Between 5 weeks and 2 months before the Event: 50% refund of the Art Ticket, minus a [$100] administration fee.

• Within 5 weeks of the Event: no refund of the Art Ticket is available.

• The $200 deposit is non-refundable once minimum numbers have been confirmed, except where Shiny Happy Art cancels the Event (see “Cancellation by Shiny Happy Art” below).

• One-on-one tuition with Anna Battle

• Group master classes

• A behind-the-scenes tour of Ridgemill Estate winery

• Quality watercolour papers and sketchbook supplies, plus access to shared art supplies (or a $50 fee to use Anna's supplies if you prefer not to bring your own kit)

• All meals except Saturday dinner

Accommodation is not included in the Art Ticket price and is booked separately (see “Accommodation” above).

Cancellation by Shiny Happy Art

If Shiny Happy Art needs to cancel the Event — for example due to insufficient minimum numbers, venue unavailability, or illness — all payments made to Shiny Happy Art will be refunded in full. Shiny Happy Art is not responsible for any other costs you may incur as a result, such as travel costs, travel insurance excess, or accommodation deposits paid directly to Ridgemill Estate.

Participant Responsibilities

• Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

• Please let us know about any dietary requirements, allergies, or accessibility needs in advance, via hello@shinyhappyart.com.

• Stanthorpe is a rural, high-elevation location with variable spring weather - mild days, cool nights, and a real chance of a passing shower or storm. Please come prepared (see the packing guidance on the Event page) and bring any personal medications you may need.

• Sketching sessions take place outdoors on vineyard grounds with uneven terrain; participants should have a reasonable level of fitness and wear appropriate closed-toe footwear.

Conduct & Intellectual Property

• Participants are asked to show respect and care for other guests, staff, the venue, and its grounds.

• Teaching materials, demonstrations, and course content remain the intellectual property of Anna Battle / Shiny Happy Art.

• Artwork created by participants during the Event remains their own property.

• Shiny Happy Art may photograph or film the Event for promotional use on social media and the website; participants who do not wish to be photographed should let us know in advance.
