When our brother, Michael, was given a pair of budgie smugglers for Christmas, our Mum had had a couple of gins and laughingly suggested, “It’s Christmas! They should be called ‘Turkey Smugglers’!”

But of course if we’re talking turkeys, not budgies… they’d have to be boardies!
